Privacy Policy

We're a small company run by real people. We collect what we need to run Levelhead, we protect it seriously, and we don't sell it to anyone. That's the short version. Here's the longer one.

1. Who we are

Levelhead is a product of Levelhead LLC, a limited liability company registered in Illinois. Our primary contact for privacy matters is privacy@levelheadlabs.com.

2. What we collect

We collect information in two ways: what you give us directly, and what we collect automatically when you use our site.

Information you give us:

Name and email address when you sign up for our list or create an account
Shipping address and payment information when you place an order
Any messages you send us through our contact form or by email

Information collected automatically:

Pages visited, time spent on site, and referring URLs (via Google Analytics)
Device type, browser, and approximate location (city/region level)
Cookies and similar tracking technologies (see Section 6)

3. How we use it

To process and fulfil your orders
To send you order confirmations, shipping updates, and customer service replies
To send you marketing emails if you've opted in — and only then
To understand how people use our site so we can make it better
To comply with legal obligations

4. Who we share it with

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. Full stop. We work with a small number of trusted service providers who help us run the business:

Shopify — our e-commerce platform
Klaviyo — our email marketing platform
ShipMonk — our fulfilment partner
Google Analytics — site analytics
Stripe — payment processing

Each of these providers is contractually required to protect your data and use it only for the services they provide to us.

5. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information at any time. You can also opt out of marketing emails using the unsubscribe link in any email we send. To exercise any of these rights, email us at privacy@levelheadlabs.com and we'll respond within 30 days.

6. Cookies

We use cookies to keep you logged in, remember your cart, and understand how our site is used. You can control cookie settings through your browser. Note that disabling certain cookies may affect site functionality.

7. Data retention

We keep your data for as long as necessary to provide our services and comply with legal obligations. If you close your account or request deletion, we'll remove your personal data within 30 days unless we're required by law to keep it longer.

8. Children

Levelhead is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with their information, please contact us and we'll delete it promptly.

9. Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we'll notify you by email or by posting a notice on our site at least 14 days before the changes take effect.
